Valentine’s Week 2023

Valentines Week 2023

Valentine’s week 2023 is an opportunity for those who want to express their emotions to the ones they love. With the arrival of the New Year 2023, we look forward to the week of love with ultimate excitement. An ideal valentine’s day is filled with love, hearts, flowers, and romance all around. However, if you are someone who is a little bit doubtful about how you can make Valentine’s week striking, here are some ideas for you.

Valentine Week Starts With Rose Day – 7 February 2023

The start of Valentine’s week is on February 7 with Rose day. As the name gives us hint, the day demands the exchange of roses. The day is perfect to confess your feelings to your crush, girlfriend/ boyfriend, or husband/ wife. Here’s our idea to celebrate the occasion.

The ideal way is to give away the roses with some delicacies. You can start your day by preparing a morning tea and presenting a rose alongside.
Send them a bouquet while they are at work to cheer up their mood in between a hectic day.
Write down what that rose wants to communicate with a personal message to make it extra memorable.
Give out some chocolates, cupcakes, or donuts.

Flowers don’t have to be roses, in fact, you can make a change with lilies, orchids, carnations, or anything you like.

Propose Day – 8 February 2023

February 8, i.e. Propose day is the second day of valentine’s week. If you are single and looking for a chance to ask someone out, this is the best time. A good proposal can be anytime and anywhere, just make sure the words come from your heart. Also, don’t forget to gift flowers or something else when you propose.

Book a romantic candlelight dinner and say that you want to do all your dinners with her/him. You can not miss out on the typical bending on a knee under moonlight proposal.

Even if you are already committed or married to someone, don’t forget to propose to your life partner again and refresh the road you’ve crossed so far.

Chocolate Day – 9 February 2023

Chocolate day falling on February 9th is the 3rd day of valentine’s week. Chocolate is always thought to be a token of affection. In fact, it is thought to be sweeter than love which can make your bond stronger. Besides, we all know how it cheers up the mood of a person. You can celebrate the chocolate day by eating chocolates, obviously. But here is more.

Plan out a date in your favorite restaurant and order your favorite chocolate dessert.
Also, you can plan a little snack time that consists of all wafers and chocolates. For example, chocolate cookies, chocolate hearts, letters, and more.
And the perfect one, spend some time together in the kitchen and prepare your favorite chocolaty thing. This way, you can both have some fun and sweet delicacies.
As a matter of fact, chocolates have a high level of antioxidants. Plus, it is verified to prevent memory decline and lower cholesterol levels. So, treat your loved one with love and health this chocolate day with one of the above ideas.

Teddy Day on 10 February 2023

The fourth day of Valentine’s week is on February 10, 2023, i.e. teddy day. Teddies are just lovely stuffed toys when you are a kid. However, when you are a grown-up, they represent more than that. This day as well is about accepting your love or attraction towards someone. However, gifting a teddy bear means that you vow to be by their side forever. With these cute gifts, the person can feel your existence and hug it out anytime they want.

Get a huge human-size teddy bear and give it to her so she can feel like it’s a stuffed version that portrays you. To be honest, they are better to sleep and cuddle partners.
If a giant teddy isn’t your preference, get small ones and maybe give some chocolates alongside.
Both online and offline markets are loaded with adorable unique teddy stuff items that you can buy as per your budget.
Do not forget to add a card with a personal message when you give away that fuzzy bear.
Did you know, just like roses, the colors of teddy bears also have different meanings? The red bears are to admit love, while the pink ones reveal affection. On the other hand, the blue, orange, and green teddies show commitment, hope, and patience, respectively.

Day 5 of Valentine’s week: Promise Day – 11 February 2023

A relationship of love always counts on words and efforts, and this is what the fifth day of Valentine’s week asks for Promises. There’s nothing tangible attached to this day, but it still is an imperative one. On this day, people promise each other to stay committed, loyal, and faithful to their partner. Besides, even all marriages are based on promises you take.

As said, there are no gifts involved here. You just have to make sure to tell out the words straight from your heart. Also, make sure to stick to them forever.

You can always note down your promises in a card or letter. A handwritten letter goes a long way and there’s nothing more affecting than that piece of paper. You can also gift something that shows the depth of your promise.

On a different note, promises are not only for romantic partners. You can uplift the essence of the day by giving your promises to your friends, parents, and siblings. However, one thing remains the constant i.e; to keep every single word you say.

Hug Day on 12 February 2023

With Valentine’s week 2023 approaching towards its end, things become less materialistic and more passionate. February 12 is the second last day of the week celebrated as hug day. A hug is an ideal way to express your love and warmth towards someone. We all will agree that we all need hugs from our loved ones even in daily life.

Studies have shown that a person needs 6 hugs on a normal day. So make sure to give more on this special day.

Furthermore, love and affection multiply when shown in public. So, if you are out, do not forget to give regular hugs so everybody knows you care.

Celebrate Pre Valentine’s Day with Kiss Day on 13 February 2023

The last day of Valentine’s week 2023 is kiss day which is marked on February 13. Just like hugs, kisses are a token of love that we often forget to use in our daily lives. A kiss is a gesture saying that you love and care for someone more than you can speak in words. Let’s approve, we love when someone gives us random unexpected kisses, don’t we? The romance is at its peak at this time of the year. And what’s romance if there’s no kiss involved?

Valentine’s Day– 14 February 2023

Here comes the final day when your endeavor will pay off. Well, not quite the end but the start of your love life. The struggles of all these seven days are just the beginning to make valentines day the best! This day, you just have to spend time with your loved one, no matter what you do. Although these days, the day does not have to be exclusive only to the love of your life. If that someone special is still missing from your life, you can spend the day with your close ones like friends or family.
